Ndigbo, of Nigeria, are known for their rich cultural heritage, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit.

We have contributed significantly to the development of Nigeria in the areas of commerce, industry, and education. However, over the years, we have been struggling to maintain our cultural identity due to factors such as colonization, globalization, and migration.
To restore our lost identity, Ndigbo could consider the following:
Embrace and promote their cultural heritage: Ndigbo have a unique cultural identity that is characterized by their language, music, dance, food, and dress. By embracing and promoting these cultural elements, they can help preserve their customs and traditions.

Educate the younger generation: To ensure that our culture is passed down to future generations, Ndigbo can educate their children about their history, customs, and traditions. This can be done through storytelling, cultural events, and community celebrations.
Develop Cultural Centers: Ndigbo can establish cultural centers in various parts of the country and the world, showcasing our culture and bridging the gap between the younger and older generations. This will provide opportunities for cultural exchange and promote unity.
Create a Cultural Council: The Igbo community could establish a board dedicated to promoting Igbo culture and values. This group could create a national cultural policy or facilitate initiatives to preserve and promote the Igbo language, traditions, and way of life.

Promote entrepreneurship: The Igbo community is well-known for our entrepreneurial spirit. Encouraging more people to participate in business activities is one way we can showcase our identity while contributing to the economic well-being of our communities.
In summary, restoring Ndigbo's lost identity requires a collective effort from the community. Embracing cultural heritage, educating the younger generation, developing cultural centers, creating a cultural council, and promoting entrepreneurship are all significant steps towards restoring lost identity.
