Abia State's deputy governor, Ikechukwu Emetu, has announced plans to establish a cement factory in Ohafia that could potentially create over 36,000 job opportunities. Emetu made the announcement during a courtesy visit from a delegation of the Ohafia School of Thought at the Government House in Umuahia.
Emetu explained that the factory, which would utilize the abundant limestone resources in the area, could also attract the establishment of banks, industries, and other service providers. He emphasized the commitment of the Alex C. Otti led administration to fulfill its campaign promises to the people of the clan and the state as a whole.
