Stories of people who made money via money-ritual like okeite, belonging to a secret cult and so on are all myths and fairy-tales. Till date no one has provided any evidence to prove them. If you have one let us know.
The belief that Jesus or any other benevolent spirit gives money is unfounded. It lacks biblical or/ and factual evidences.
Money is purely an economic thing, not spiritual or religious.
None of the richest people on earth associates his or her wealth with any spiritual power. Many famous rich people are even atheists.
Money/ wealth is nothing but a reward for exchange of goods and services.
The easiest way of making money is by discovering your talents especially on time.
You must not do buying and selling before becoming rich.
Ask yourself: What is that that I do without much stress and that gives me joy when doing it/ them? It is in such things that your talents are found.
Do not be bothered with how the society rates your talents. In fact, if it makes you shy it is not your talent.
If you discover that palm wine tapping gives you joy, go ahead and invest knowledge, time and money into it.
If it is farming, welding, hunting, shoe-making, cooking, tailoring, preparing moi moi möi, akara, okpa go ahead and do it.
Once you can discover that thing which gives you joy, hold on to it and you are most likely going to be successful economically.
We are not saying that you should not worship God. We are only saying that your religious life has nothing to do with your economic growth because wealth making is purely a socio-economic thing. That is why atheists also become rich.
However, some religious teachings and principles can help in inculcating in one qualities that can help him/ her harness and impove on his or her talents. Such principles include: honesty, dedication to duties, hardwork, teamwork, love for the society and so on.
