4. Many engineers long employed at the State Ministry of works have openly confessed that this is the first time they had been deployed to sites.
5. Those handling the road projects, whether contractors or staff of the ministry of works and its parastatals are required to source their labour and inputs from the local markets, that is, they can only go outside Abia for any procurement when the material cannot be sourced from the state.
6. What you are seeing is only a prelude to some major civil engineering projects that would be launched in all parts of the state in the weeks ahead.
