Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has urged those organizing the Monday sit-at-home in the Southeast to cease the exercise.
Speaking through his lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), Kanu expressed his disapproval of the sit-at-home, stating that it contradicts his efforts to fight for the people while adversely affecting the region's economy and daily life.
Kanu pointed out the negative impact of the sit-at-home on various aspects of society, including social, economic, cultural, and political life.
He emphasized the psychological, physical, and mental strain it places on the Igbo community.
